Based in the United Arab Emirates, with a London office at 45 Albemarle Street in Mayfair, Penbriar was built to access works rarely offered publicly: pictures that move between private collections without first coming to auction. Those transactions depend on longstanding relationships with collectors, institutions, dealers and specialists.

Collectors deal directly with the team, led by George King. George spent four years leading private sales at Artsy, where he placed significant works with collectors across Europe, the United States and Asia. He focuses on finding the right works and placing them well, sourced discreetly and with a clear view of the market.

Managing Director Benjamin Tomkins works at the intersection of finance and art, having founded Zurani. Behind the scenes, Director Latifu Mumuni leads Penbriar’s technology and market intelligence.
